I'm Speaking At REMIX10
I’m a bit late with posting about this, but I’ve put my hand up to speak at the REMIX10 conference, a web conference put on in Melbourne by the good folks at Microsoft, running June 1-2.
My talk is called What We Know About You, and the title is a tip-of-the-hat to a presentation that Microsoft’s own Michael Kordahi gave at an Ignite Sydney event earlier this year (go watch it, Mike’s a great presenter and the talk is terrific).
My talk is an introduction to web analytics, with a focus on Google Analytics. I’ll be sharing a heap of analytics data that we’ve collected over a period of 10 years at SitePoint, and I’ll be exploring some of the ways that we use this data to optimize sitepoint.com for its users. More importantly, I’ll be showing how you can do the same to get more from your web analytics.
After checking out the conference hall this afternoon, I’m super excited about presenting to such a large crowd (and about seeing my slides on three massive screens!)
If you’re attending REMIX10, I hope you’ll come up and say hello!
